In line with current government guidelines, we request that everyone attending the clinic continues to wear a face covering on entering the building, unless medically exempt. This is to minimise the risk of virus transmission for staff and other patients as the rates of infection with COVID-19 remain very high in the area. All clients are also encouraged to use the hand sanitiser provided on entering and leaving the clinic. Staff will continue to wear a face mask during all appointments and gloves and an apron will also be worn based on individual client risk assessments.
In order to protect others, please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell in any way. In particular, a high temperature, a new persistent cough or a loss of sense of smell or taste can indicate COVID-19 but cold-type symptoms, a loss of appetite, diarrhoea or feeling or being sick can can also be caused by COVID-19. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment with no charges if you are unable to attend due to illness.
We have many measures in place to minimise the risk of viral transmission when attending for a face to face appointment. These include:
Where possible we ask that you wait in your car or outside until your appointment time
If you are able to do so, please attend your appointment alone to reduce unnecessary volumes of people entering the building
All surfaces and equipment that are touched are cleaned following each appointment
Windows are left open for increased ventilation
We ask that 2m social distancing is maintained as much as possible during appointments
